Northumbria Flying School is readily accessible using all major forms of transport. Included here is a brief guide to help you find our facility. Please remember we are not based within the main airport passenger terminal. By Car Follow signs for Emergency Vehicles (S) from all major roads leading to the airport. We are located opposite CityNet catering, next to Newcastle Aviation Academy. Car parking immediately outside our facility is limited during weekdays - please do not block any emergency lanes. Allow 20 minutes in normal traffic conditions from the City Centre. Car parking is free. The route is shown on the map at the bottom. SatNav: NE13 8BT. By Metro Ten minutes walk from Callerton Parkway. If coming from the city centre, cross over the railway line and walk towards the mini-roundabout. You should see the Premier Inn hotel on your left. At the mini-roundabout cross straight ahead onto the airport access path leaving the road behind. NB If driving, this would not have been an option. Follow this path across a small bridge and then head straight up the hill towards the buildings. The path terminates in the car park of an office building. Make your way out of the car park (straight ahead). You should now find yourself in the freight village. Head towards DHL and Europcar on your right hand side. Head behind DHL. From the rear corner of DHL you should be able to see our building - furthest, single story cream coloured with large trees in front. The route is shown on the map at the bottom. By Bus Please use Traveline to help plan your journey. Your destination is Callerton Parkway Metro Station. Then follow directions for 'By Metro'. By Air For those customers and members arriving on commercial flights, we can normally offer a pick-up service from the main terminal. Please inform us in advance if this is the case. For those arriving on private flights, we are based on taxiway Foxtrot. Parking is located at the South East corner of the apron. Parking is PPR, please read FBO information.
